Wooden Roots Carpentry was founded by James Waters, whom often goes by the nickname of Smiley! James qualified with a City and Guilds carpentry qualification over 10 yrs ago at St Austell College. He has worked on a wide variety of carpentry and building projects over the years, even before he took his qualifications.

With a passion for design and detail James is most at home creating bespoke cabinets, shelving and storage spaces. His wide experience in wood craft has allowed him to hone his skills and specialize in cabinetry one of the more creative areas of carpentry.
